The Kadampa Buddhist Teacher Training Program (TTP) is for those who wish to improve their understanding and experience of Dharma, train as qualified Dharma Teachers, and benefit others through helping in the flourishing of Buddhadharma in this world. Those who wish to join the TTP in Baltimore can discuss their interest with Kelsang Chogden.

TTP Retreats and teaching skills programs are scheduled regularly.

General Information

Many Buddhist practitioners have a sincere wish to deepen their knowledge and experience of Dharma so that they might gain authentic spiritual realizations, and some also wish to help others by giving Dharma teachings and advice. To fulfill these wishes Geshe Kelsang Gyatso has designed the Teacher Training Program.

The Program takes several years to complete and successful students are awarded a certificate testifying that they are qualified to teach the subjects they have studied. The Program also provides an ideal basis for maintaining a strong daily practice and for engaging in extensive meditation retreat.
