Meditations for Modern Life, followed by Sunday Social

  • Kadampa Meditation Center Maryland (map)

Due to extreme weather conditions and continued snow preventing overflow street parking once our parking lot fills up, we are offering this class both in-person and online. Please sign up here for the online/virtual option. This will be live-streamed via Zoom, and we will email you the link at least 20 min before class starts.

Register Here for the Virtual Option! Note that registration will close at 10am, and Zoom links will be emailed out at that time.

These classes include both meditations and teachings based on Buddha’s wisdom that can help us to stay peaceful, even in the most challenging times. Current series topic:

What is Reality? The Ultimate Nature of Reality: Everything Changes

What is the actual nature of reality?  Buddha said: “Think that all phenomena are like dreams.”  Join us to understand this amazing discovery that opens the door to permanent freedom from suffering and the completely pure state of enlightenment.

To Register for Class: Please register upon arrival. We request that you arrive 10 minutes early if possible.

Cost: $12/class ($8 students/seniors 62+/unemployed).

Your first class is always free: just let us know it’s your first class when you arrive.
