Away Retreat in the Country: Freedom from Anger

  • Mar-Lu Ridge Retreat Center (map)

Get away on retreat!

At this retreat, people from DC, MD, VA, PA, & NJ will be gathering to enjoy meditation and visiting with each other in a relaxed country setting.  During this inspiring retreat, we will be learning how to recognize, reduce, and even eliminate anger from our mind, and will gain methods to help us experience the peace of acceptance in its place.

One of our most destructive states of mind is anger.  It can so easily arise when we encounter something we do not like or we fail to satisfy our desires. If anger is not recognized early on, it becomes a poison that destroys our inner peace and happiness and incites us to do harmful actions that cause suffering for ourself and others.

The teachings will be based on the text How to Solve Our Human Problems, by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche.

Everyone welcome!
