The American Dream: Emptiness and Freedom – June 22
The American Dream embodies much more than the pursuit of wealth and success, but fundamentally the inner wealth of virtue and the ideals of equality, liberty, and the presence of opportunity to make a better life. In an increasingly complicated world how do we achieve this dream today? In challenging times, what can we do to create the life of happiness and freedom that we all want?
It’s Official- A Buddhist Temple for Baltimore!
On Thursday January 31st at 6:30pm we completed the purchase of our new home, which will be the first Kadampa Buddhist Temple in the Mid-Atlantic Region and will become the home of the First Kadampa School in the United States. We are most delighted with this new opportunity to bring peace and happiness to our area! Thank you to everyone for your support and please join us for upcoming volunteer activities.
