It’s Official- A Buddhist Temple for Baltimore!

On Thursday January 31st at 6:30pm we completed the purchase of our new home, which will be the first Kadampa Buddhist Temple in the Mid-Atlantic Region and will become the home of the First Kadampa School in the United States. We are most delighted with this new opportunity to bring peace and happiness to our area! Thank you to everyone for your support and please join us for upcoming volunteer activities.

About Us
Kadampa Meditation Center Maryland is located near the Baltimore Museum of Art and Johns Hopkins University. The center is a diverse and welcoming community and reflects the city in which we live. We provide meditation classes and Buddhist teachings across Maryland. Taught by qualified local teachers, the meditation classes are very relaxing and the talks are easy to understand and apply to our daily lives. Our classes are perfect for both beginners and those with experience. Everyone is welcome!
