The Empowerment of Medicine Buddha
Heal the Mind, Heal the World
November 7th-8th
By receiving the empowerment of Medicine Buddha, we have an opportunity to make a connection with the embodiment of enlightened healing energy, who has accomplished permanent freedom from mental and physical suffering. With Medicine Buddha’s blessings, as we heal our mind we gain more power to heal the world through our prayers. Through these prayers, we can also begin to heal our physical illnesses and help others to do the same. Everyone is welcome to this blissful guided meditation through which we make a special, heartfelt connection with Medicine Buddha and receive his profound healing blessings.
The empowerment session will be held Saturday morning, and that afternoon will include a commentary on the Medicine Buddha practices and your special connection with him. In the Sunday afternoon retreat, we will be guided through the chanted prayer and meditation practices of Medicine Buddha.
