Retreat with Guest Teacher Gen Samten Kelsang: The Emptiness of the Eight Extremes

Our daily life is a tapestry of constantly changing situations and events. We try to fit each person, event, or situation into a neat little box inside our mind which our thoughts then grasp onto, exaggerate, get stressed by, angry about or disappointed by.

This weekend we will explore the expectations surrounding the experiences of change in our life as the things we desire come into being and then inevitably fade away.

We will also look at an intriguing aspect of our lives - the psychology of travel! The conscious and unconscious emotions we have within as we travel, whether stuck in gridlock or running for a bus!
