Meditations for Modern Life, followed by Sunday Social

  • Kadampa Meditation Center Maryland (map)

There will be refreshments provided after class during our Sunday Social.

These classes include both meditations and teachings based on Buddha’s wisdom that can help us to stay peaceful, even in the most challenging times. Current series topic:

Why This Day Matters: You Have Buddha Nature

Buddha shared specific teachings on how to encourage ourselves every day to apply joyful effort towards actualizing our full potential for happiness. By practicing these methods, our mental attitudes will shift and we will find that even our difficult circumstances energize us and ultimately unlock our potential for real happiness, emotional freedom, love, wisdom and more.

To Register for Class: Please register upon arrival. We request that you arrive 10 minutes early if possible.

Cost: $12/class ($8 students/seniors 62+/unemployed).

Your first class is always free: just let us know it’s your first class when you arrive.
