The Mid-Atlantic Dharma Celebration is a very special annual event that connects practitioners around the Mid-Atlantic region. This incredible weekend of practical teachings, powerful meditations, and an energizing empowerment is an event not to be missed. If you are new to Buddhism, the Celebration weekend provides a perfect opportunity to gain a deeper understanding and experience of Buddha's teachings. Everyone is welcome.

Buddha Avalokiteshvara is the embodiment of the compassion of all enlightened beings. This empowerment is a sublime guided meditation through which we develop a relationship with Guru Avalokiteshvara, and connect with a beautiful optimistic vision of possibility and transformation in which we receive and radiate love, compassion and wisdom.

“When we become a Buddha our happiness radiates eternally as compassion, nourishing all living beings and gradually drawing them into the same state.” ~Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, How to Transform Your Life.

Through imagination, guided meditation and blessings, we feel personally empowered to become the person we wish to be, and to progress towards our own enlightenment.

The Mid-Atlantic Dharma Celebration provides a precious opportunity to study, listen to and practice the special presentation of modern Buddhism taught by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, the Founder of the New Kadampa Tradition.

Everyone is welcome.
